In this infographic below, the precentage of human caused CO2 (ACO2) that is in the atmosphere is shown, and has a value of 3.4%. Given that CO2 total is 3.6% of the total greenhouse gases (or what we are calling IRG) in the atmosphere, this amounts to a very small impact.
There are other authors who come up with similar numbers and in the carbon cycle portion of this section we will look at this further.
