The AGW Basis:  human emissions control climate

There are a good many aspect to this claim, form how can CO2 be so potent to how good are the models, leading to how good are the claims and predictions?    Each can be explored by proceeding to the links given.

There are other aspects as well:  the political and policy advocacy and strategies.   You can follow each by using the menu above or the Overview presentation, which is meant to be a tutorial or accessible version of this website.

AAs is also detailed elsewhere on this website, climate is a super complex question with a great many natural causes and some presumed to be man made.  The videos below in the selection section are a great source of background and details on the overview questions.    We will dive into a great many topics individually as well.

Patrick Moore the founder of Greenpeace has some interesting words to answer the question is AGW as a concept valid or not?

The second video is a simple humorous cartoon version of the arguments in this site.

Also a video by Prof Plimer is revealing, as are the other videos at the links in the lower right section.

We should revisit occasionally what the proper role of government is.   As the constitution was a good sense of direction, we need a core set of principles to add in order to deal with the future.

So many want to engineer society, remove risk, assist certain groups, rather than let individuals thrive and raise communities.  Why?

Is Democracy where we all "get it good and hard" or is it the best means to a free society?

Should we roll with the special interests, or make the government achieve its proper role, what is that role, and how to do this?

When do deficits and governments become too large?

Government is becoming more elitist while trying to sell corrections to problems it created, what makes this possible?
