Science is Meaningful to our Lives:

The site is explained in broad terms under Site.   It is about reason and science in the proper sense.   One can start by looking at the scientific method and thinking about how that works in the arena of climate.

Our intent is very straightforward:  to instill an understanding of what is known and not known about climate.   We begin our presentations with the idea of the complexity of the earth and its climate.   To consider a planet that is covered by water to the percentage of 71% we cannot overlook the importance of water and water vapor to what we will experience in climate.   It dominates.

We take on these topics and all aspects of climate theories and predictions.    The breadth and depth of these topics are another barrier to most people asking and answering the meaningful questions.    AGW enthusiasts point to the consensus and the opinions of experts.   Why would the average citizen even bother questioning this overwhelming set of opinions?  The reason for suggesting to dig deeper is the simple observation:  would you turn over your and your kids futures to a group of experts?   Perhaps some would, but after examining even the overview presentations (see menu above) i suspect that many will have more questions and the doubt matrix will come to life.

We look forward to your comments and hearing your feedback.   Do read over the feedback we received from one of our presentations to see the value in digging into this topic.   We have tried to make the science not too nerdy but give you the chance to see the manner in which climate theories have been formed and what that means to the question: is science settled?.

We should revisit occasionally what the proper role of government is.   As the constitution was a good sense of direction, we need a core set of principles to add in order to deal with the future.

So many want to engineer society, remove risk, assist certain groups, rather than let individuals thrive and raise communities.  Why?

Is Democracy where we all "get it good and hard" or is it the best means to a free society?

Should we roll with the special interests, or make the government achieve its proper role, what is that role, and how to do this?

When do deficits and governments become too large?

Government is becoming more elitist while trying to sell corrections to problems it created, what makes this possible?

Currently as a society, we are having a most difficult time discussing political issues.  What is driving this?   And why a rebirth in political culture would be a good thing.

Market Economy

Are "markets" dead as some would conjecture? Or is free enterprise what got us here?

Economic Theories

At the heart of economics there are several possible economic schools of thought, the essence of these schools of thought and how they relate to our lives.
