Slide 8 in this series.
The increase of CO2 in the atmosphere, largely natural, is causing a greening of the world. Certainly the increase in CO2 has caused an increase in plant growth. The net effect over the past few decades has been an inceased area of greenery the size of the continential USA.
Increased CO2 does increase plant growth and makes the use of H2O reduced in this plant growth.
This increase in plant growth makes the world also more productive in crop growth.
Since the buring of rain and other forests has also been reduced by close to 25% in recent decades, this also reduces CO2 emissions. It was not long ago that the clearing of rain forests in South America amounted to 30% of the total CO2 emissions from the entire world.
NEXT: How large is the factor of population in the world and how large could it be?
This series delves into the policies that are being considered in response to the AGW claims.
