The sun is a large and mounstous source of energy as the picture below shows, having a relative size of earth in the lower left corner.
The surface temperature of the sun is over 15 million degrees K, while the radiating temperature is by 5700K. Another lesson not learned by many climate scientists is what is the effective temperature of radiation for energy release for a planet and more speficically earth.
Also worth noting is that the so-called global warming effects we are seeing here on earth are being observed on all other planets in our solar system. This factoid is never mentioned except by a very few scientists.
