Climate Science

Slide 14 in this series.

The earth's energy cycle is complex but comprehendable.  Since the earth's surface is 71% covered with oceans, these bodies dominate any discussion about climate.   The resulting formation of Water Vapor and clouds is also the means to the end of balancing the energy.   Energy release mechanisms of evpaoration (largest), radiation, (2nd), and conduction/convection (3rd) vary from location to location.

As the atmospheric system churns, eventually radiation from the atmosphere to outer space over some time period, is needed to balance the energy from the sun.
