Looking at the the USA average summer temperatures, they tell a story of no increase through 2015.  This is an average for these summer months over the past more than 100 years.  These are USA land meansurements only.   All of this despite the increase in the urban heating effect and the reduction of stations, both favoring AGW.

Since AGW is focused on the warmer temperatures increasing, this data suggests that over a significan time period the land in the NH has shown no recent warming trend.   In fact the temperatures in the 1930's in this dataset show the max for this time period.

Do not know the trend for the cooler temps. This reminds us that the temp increase is elsewhere outside of one of the largest set of land sensors in the world.

This data points to the need to delve much deeper than using a single number for the average global temperature.
