This has been going on for a long time. This is but a part of the tens of billions of dollars spent on Climate activities by the US Fed Gov. This does not include the money spent by the UN under their IPCC activities, or the amount of money spent on clean energy to the tune of $1B a day, yes per day.
This is a big business with its own agenda and that includes keeping the money flowing.
