If Call to Arms is Large or Small

In the initial phase, if 100s respond how to manage?    First of all mgmt. is perhaps my skill set to add to this party, although the science background has given me the ability also to process various arguments and integrate, and I am certainly not alone.   I made a decision a few years ago that the place for me to focus was not to work on a paper, but to organize materials like website and videos, after learning the area and connecting with folks like are addressed here and the Willie gang.  The first thing to do was to see what was done and assess how effective.   The approach of the lone warrior with the think tank was a serious mistake, and the alarmist ranks ran free with no effective resistance to alarmism.

What can be done with several hundred people working a small to a larger amount of time?  One approach is to determine their skills, knowledge and time possible, and what subject or subjects they want to work on.   The communication and organize can be determined with teams assigned with leaders, and the mgmt. of a detailed outline.   I, or we will have to put together some training videos on the voice and the process.   In other words we see what we have and then integrate into an org with structure.    I have run organizations larger, but hopefully we will also have some manager types join in.    The important thing is not to focus on the complexity of a band of volunteers but to get them excited about the task ahead.   As we grow a website and they see how it is working, there will be for some a larger energy to engage.

If the response is less or small, the It might be best to focus on one of the websites given what resources we have.  If the work is done effectively and gains some momentum, then perhaps growth of the resource will come later.   It is however likely to be a gradual process and not large at the start.

I am excited about the possibilities.  We could be spread out all over the world and should be.   There will be gaps to fill and perhaps we recruit some folks to fill them.  Building momentum is easier than starting from scratch.   I think each of the months from Nov on is a big step forward to whatever is possible.
