Climate History (contd)

Slide 7 in this series.

Sea level rise has been consistent for sometime, but has not always been so.   In times past the sea level could drop by 30 meters or rise 10's of meters from where we are today.   The variability of so many parts of the climate have been much broader than some would mention.

And the more modern satellite measurement of sea level in recent decades tells the story of no increase in sea level rise, making the continued rise the result of natural causes.

NEXT:   The sea level in Canada is an indication of how little the sea level has changed in this last century. Clearly there is not any immediate correlation to CO2 that is either apparent or expected given this history.
