The sun is the overwhelming source of energy incoming to earth. No other star or energy source can match this power.
The radiation from the sun is at a black body radiation temperature of 5700K or so. The surface of the sun is actually at 15 million dgrees C, so the radiating temperature is not from the sun's surface.
The earth receives the short wavelenght energy from the sun, and in turn radiates long wave radiation as one of three mechanisms to balance the energy of earth.
