Slide 14 in this series.

The compute simulation of the absorption of IR by the gases capable of that absorption, what is called on this site IRG, has received a good deal of attention and program generation.

These programs of which there are several:  MODTRAN, LOWTRAN, and HiTRAN have seen several versions and compute quite similar numbers.   Although with updates as i discovered the actual number for Radiative Forcing can vary a lot even in recent times.

What is worth noting is that these simulators use lookup tables to generate the basic numbers.  These results do not agree with basic physics of absorption.  They do however seem to provide data that like the later NASA energy diagram generate energy where there is none. The laws of energy conservation do not apply here for some reason.

NEXT:  Looking into the downward radiation we can see why these claims are being made.
